What is a Teaser?

Teasers are wagers in American Football and Basketball in which three to six teams or totals are joined together into a single play and additional points are added or subtracted to the sides and/or total in order to improve the chances of winning.

The player manipulates the true lines on the sides and the totals, using the following system:

Sides: Always add the points, whether it’s the dog or the favorite.
Over: Always SUBTRACT the points from the over.
Under: Always ADD the points to the under.

All of the picks must win, in a case of a single loss the teaser is automatically a loss. A "Push" on a 3 team teaser constitutes a "No Action" wager and the risk would be refunded to the customer's account. Ties on a four or more team teaser will revert to the next lowest betting bracket.

Teasers are used ONLY for Basketball (Pro & College) and Football (Pro & College), and the two can be mixed together. In basketball they can get either 4, 4½ or 5 points; and in football they can get either 6, 6½ or 7 points.

The maximum number of totals you can select for any teaser are now as follows:

3 teams - maximum 2 totals.
4 teams - maximum 3 totals.
5 teams - maximum 4 totals.
6 teams - maximum 4 totals.

The payoff on a teaser is determined by the number of teams and points being bought.
